Coolearth Product Update for Whistle WMS-SCE GX-2010 Release Date

Coolearth is announcing the next release of Whistle Supply Chain Execution (SCE) Version GX for March, 2010.

The Whistle SCE solution is Coolearth’s core product offering, incorporating wireless-based warehouse management and shop floor execution functionality for manufacturers in the food & beverage, chemical, and other process industries.

“The next major release of our flagship software is indeed major in every way,” said Carsten Erickson, Coolearth President and CEO. “Due to the overwhelming interest in this forthcoming release we feel compelled to make a general announcement of its upcoming availability.”
Whistle SCE GX will offer a myriad of new functionality and enhancements, spotlighting an entirely new graphical user interface. The GX version built utilizing the new GX Service Architecture will provide a unifying product offering (Whistle Mobile, Whistle Studio, and Whistle Server) based upon a unified code base. Other GX functionality will be continued integration/support for Infor Adage5.x ERP, Enhanced Nutrition/Ingredient container/case labels functions, improved Back-Office Workstation Console (Studio) for system maintenance, management and administration (security, messaging, etc.), improved Service Architecture (Orchestrator) for centralized transaction processing, caching, and configuration management, and increased automation and integration for data collection of Production-Line Catch-weight capabilities. 

Finally, the next minor release of Whistle SCE-Version GX, anticipated to come in the later months of 2010 will include amongst other functions our Labor Tracking System (whitepaper currently available).
