National Frozen Foods To Begin Whistle SCE Pilot

Coolearth Technologies announced that National Frozen Foods Corporation will begin a pilot implementation of its Whistle Supply Chain Execution (SCE) suite in May.

Whistle is designed for process manufacturers and offers packaged functionality for the food industry based on extensive experience with food, beverage, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) clients.

Whistle integrates seamlessly with National Frozen’s ERP system, providing additional functionality for directed picking and putaway, manufacturing, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and quality assurance.

National Frozen will run Whistle on a combination of terminals and Radio Frequency (RF) devices, including the latest generation of Windows CE forktruck-mounted computers.

“The National Frozen pilot will let us demonstrate how well our system functions in rugged, frozen environments,” said Carsten Erickson, Coolearth VP of Product Strategy and CTO.  “In addition to Whistle’s handling of this environment’s unique business requirements, we had to choose the right RF hardware solutions.”

“The Whistle suite of supply chain execution products continues to gain market share in the process manufacturing segment,” said David Zimmerman, Coolearth co-founder and CEO. “Coolearth’s reputation for excellence in the process industry is growing.”
