Lopez Foods Licenses Whistle SCE Software Suite

Coolearth Technologies announced that Lopez Foods has licensed its Whistle supply chain execution software suite. Lopez, a leading supplier of meat products for McDonald’s and Wal-Mart, will implement Whistle in its Oklahoma production facility. Lopez Foods’ subsidiary, Carneco Foods, will also implement Whistle at its Nebraska production facility.
“Whistle will allow us to automate data collection, increase inventory velocity, and boost productivity,” said Jim English, Lopez Foods Chief Financial Officer. “Coolearth’s industry focus, wireless interface, multilingual support, and real-time integration with our ERP and process control systems made Whistle an easy choice.”

“We are extremely pleased that Lopez has selected us,” said Carsten Erickson, Coolearth VP of Product Strategy and CTO. “Our partnership further cements our position as a leading provider of supply chain execution solutions for process manufacturers.”

The Whistle supply chain execution suite is designed for process manufacturers, and includes modules for warehouse management, barcoding, ERP integration, and process control. Whistle applications can run on wireless devices inside plants and warehouses, and support advanced functionality for manufacturing and distribution.
